The Trust does not award funding where study could be met from personal means or available public funding. They do not fund general institutional costs or directly cover salaries, though salary costs may be considered as part of programme management. Broader educational purposes or activities not directly advancing RE or Home Economics teaching quality are outside their scope.

The Trust makes grants for up to three years for programme awards and offers multi-year support for individual awards. They do not require match funding.
