Arcobaleno Cancer Trust

The Trust funds cancer-related work, with particular emphasis on rare forms of kidney, bladder, thyroid and lymphatic system cancers. Small grants support project delivery, research, training, events, and emergency needs, including cancer treatment, relief of living expenses, wish fulfilment, and education. The Siobhan’s Legacy programme contributes towards annual staffing costs of specialist care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, including cancer. Major Research Grants fund cutting-edge cancer research, particularly around immunotherapy and personalised medicine. The Trust supports work across England.

Registered charities, community groups, trusts, and individuals affected by or working with cancer can apply. Individuals receiving treatment for cancer or still seriously affected by their illness are eligible. The Trust prioritises those affected by rare forms of kidney, bladder, thyroid and lymphatic system cancers, as well as babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions through the Siobhan’s Legacy programme. There is no religious restriction. Applicants should be based in England.

The Trust does not fund activities or organisations outside the field of cancer. Statutory services such as NHS bodies or local authorities are not supported. Grants are not available for non-cancer related projects, general community causes, or organisations whose work is not directly linked to cancer treatment, care, or research. Funding is also not provided for activities that fall outside the Trust’s stated priority cancer types and programme areas.

The Trust offers both one-off small grants and multi-year Major Research Grants. Funding can cover project costs, core staffing, equipment, training, and emergency needs. They welcome unsolicited applications. The Trust supports both project delivery and core costs, including contributions towards specialist care staffing through the Siobhan’s Legacy programme.
