Bobov (M/C ) Ltd

The Trust supports orthodox Jewish education, including Talmudic study programmes, religious life such as synagogues and worship, and poverty relief for the Jewish community. It funds religious schools, community centres, capital projects like buildings and fit-outs, core funding, and welfare initiatives. All activities must serve the orthodox Jewish community in Salford City and Manchester. The funder also provides facility provision and direct services to sustain orthodox institutions, reinforcing communal infrastructure and welfare needs within this specific geographic and faith context.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities, academic institutions, or community groups based exclusively in Salford City or Manchester, serving the orthodox Jewish community. Smaller local entities are preferred, and no income thresholds apply. The Trust prioritises grassroots-to-mid-sized organisations and individuals within this faith-specific and local context, with a focus on those aligned with orthodox Jewish doctrines and communal solidarity.

Bobov (M/C) Ltd does not fund non-Jewish or non-local causes, national projects, or unrelated charities. It excludes any activities outside the orthodox Jewish community in Salford City and Manchester, as well as broad fundraising or trading activities.

The Trust awards grants discretionarily via trustees' pre-existing community ties, with no open applications or formal process. It provides one-off or multi-year support, including core funding, capital projects, and facility provision, but unsolicited applications are not accepted. Grants are allocated to sustain orthodox institutions through targeted grants and direct services.
