Funding is available across England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland, with no geographic restrictions. Applications are made directly by parents, guardians, or individuals up to age 25 with disabilities or long-term illnesses. Professional references from occupational therapists, physiotherapists, or consultants (not GPs) are required to confirm the necessity of the equipment. The Trust supports children and young people with physical, learning, sensory, or complex needs. Charity organisations are not the applicants; instead, support is directed to individual beneficiaries and their families.

The Trust does not fund core costs, revenue funding, projects, or organisational support. Its focus is solely on capital equipment purchases for individuals. It does not provide funding for non-capital expenses such as running costs, staff salaries, or general charitable activities.
