Corton Hill Trust

The Trust funds a broad spectrum of initiatives, prioritising disadvantaged children and young people, efforts to combat loneliness and isolation among older people, health and wellbeing projects, accessible sports that foster cohesion, and community-led environmental or conservation work. Grant types include project funding, core costs, capacity building, unrestricted support, and occasional capital grants. The Trust has a strong geographical focus on Somerset, Dorset, and East Devon, while also considering projects across England and Wales.

Eligible applicants are registered charities and community groups of any size, with a preference for small and medium-sized, locally focused entities delivering clear benefits in the priority regions. The Trust supports grassroots organisations, community groups, and established local charities such as conservation societies and sports clubs. No religious restrictions apply, and there are no strict income thresholds.

The Trust has no major exclusions beyond a focus on proven community impact. Activities that cannot demonstrate clear community benefit are unlikely to be supported.
