Fraxinus Charitable Trust

The Trust funds a broad spectrum of charitable activities across the UK. Priority areas include poverty relief for families facing financial hardship and food insecurity, education access through after-school clubs and skills training, and SEND support for children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, or complex health needs. Health and wellbeing services such as mental health counselling, peer support groups, respite care for carers, and therapeutic activities are also supported. Additional areas include homelessness prevention, youth employment mentoring for care leavers, domestic abuse recovery, addiction support, community development fostering social cohesion, and conflict and war support including refugee integration. The Trust also funds holistic interventions like outdoor activities, creative arts therapy, and befriending schemes, prioritising person-centred, preventative, community-led approaches.

Applications are accepted from registered charities only. The Trust prioritises organisations with robust governance and a focus on underserved beneficiaries, including families in crisis, disabled adults, isolated elderly, people with complex needs, and those facing exclusion. There is no religious restriction. The Trust welcomes unsolicited applications and values evidence-based impact and sustainable change. Organisations should demonstrate public benefit and a clear focus on addressing root needs.

The Trust has no thematic exclusions beyond standard charitable status. It does not fund non-charitable activities or organisations that are not registered charities. Applications from individuals or non-registered entities are not considered.

The Trust offers flexible funding that blends core support with project-specific awards. It welcomes unsolicited applications and favours evidence-based, sustainable interventions. Funding is adaptive and responsive, without prescriptive niches, allowing charities to propose both core costs and project costs as needed.
