Genesis Research Trust

They fund projects, PhD studentships, and equipment, but do not support core costs, capital appeals, or general capacity building.

Funding is restricted to individual researchers, specifically clinical and scientific staff at Imperial College London’s Institute of Reproductive and Developmental Biology (IRDB) and the Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital site. Only in rare exceptions may applicants outside this group be considered if their projects align closely with the Trust’s mission. Applicants must be affiliated with academic or hospital institutions in the specific London sites. The Trust prioritises researchers working on high-impact, mission-aligned science in reproductive health.

The Trust does not fund core costs, capital appeals, or general capacity building. They also do not support unsolicited applications from organisations outside their preferred applicant base, as funding is primarily directed to staff at Imperial College London’s IRDB and Hammersmith and Queen Charlotte’s Hospital site.
