Greenham Trust Ltd

The Trust supports a wide range of causes including community development, mental and physical health, sport, youth work, and environmental sustainability. They fund project delivery, equipment, capital works, and, through some programmes, core costs. Beneficiaries include children, young people, older people, disabled people, carers, and rural communities. All work must take place across West Berkshire and the neighbouring ward areas of north Hampshire. The Trust also prioritises capital projects with wide community use, need, sustainability, and a solid fundraising plan, encouraging collaboration among applicants.

Registered charities, community interest companies, community groups, schools, and faith groups (for non-faith projects) with charitable aims are eligible to apply. Organisations must have a strong local presence and deliver direct benefits within West Berkshire and north Hampshire. The Trust prioritises work benefiting children, young people, older people, disabled people, carers, and rural communities. Individual applicants and commercial businesses are not eligible.

The Trust does not fund animal welfare, faith-based activity, feasibility studies, research, retrospective costs, or items considered a statutory responsibility. Also excluded are projects that generate profit, benefit one individual, or are the responsibility of the applicant's landlord. General appeals, membership subscriptions, broadband for rural villages, and national or international disasters outside the area of operation are not supported.

Greenham Trust offers a range of grants, including some that are one-off and others that may be for capital projects requiring match funding. They fund both project costs and core costs through certain programmes. The Trust welcomes unsolicited applications and encourages collaboration among applicants to maximise impact.
