Hasanah is a UK-registered charity and technology platform established in 2019 to revolutionise charitable giving, particularly within the Islamic community, by connecting donors to vetted humanitarian and developmental projects worldwide through radical transparency and real-time impact tracking. Rooted in Islamic principles like Zakat while remaining inclusive across faiths, its mission emphasises ethical philanthropy, accountability, trust, fairness, and measurable outcomes, empowering communities via a digital feedback loop that ensures rigorous due diligence, live updates, and efficient resource allocation—retaining up to 12% for operations.

It prioritises thematic areas including education, food security, healthcare, microenterprise, poverty alleviation, and humanitarian aid, supporting catalytic interventions like microloans for rural women in East Africa, fruit tree planting in El Salvador, music training in South Africa, and health education in Kenya. However, as of 1 October 2025, all grant applications, donations, and processes are suspended indefinitely—no unsolicited applications accepted, no deadlines, and no current funding available. Historically, grants ranged from microgrants to larger project, core, emergency, and capacity-building awards.
