Intelligent Foundation

Intelligent Foundation backs proven interventions in any sector or beneficiary group, including communities and people globally. It supports diverse charitable activities without thematic restrictions, covering any cause area from grassroots groups to major NGOs. The Foundation emphasises unrestricted support, funding core costs and general operations. Most activity is in England and Wales alongside international funding. It favours high-stewardship charities open to impact reporting and digital tools.

Intelligent Foundation funds UK-registered charities and community groups of any size, with no geographic base required. Eligible entities must demonstrate robust governance, regulatory registration and clear outcomes. The Foundation prioritises organisations open to impact reporting and digital tools. It does not accept unsolicited applications; trustees select grantees through internal reviews and recommendations. There is no religious restriction.

The Foundation excludes non-compliant or unvetted groups. It does not accept unsolicited applications, so it will not fund organisations that apply directly without being selected through internal reviews and recommendations.

Intelligent Foundation provides unrestricted, multi-year or one-off support for core costs and general operations. It uses low or no-fee tech platforms and payroll giving to reduce costs. It works by invitation and internal recommendations, not accepting unsolicited applications. Grants are typically unrestricted for flexible use.
