Lady Forester Trust

The Trust funds health and disability initiatives across Shropshire. Priority is given to those whose needs exceed what is available from statutory or family support, including children, young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities. The Trust welcomes applications from both individuals and organisations working within its geographic and thematic focus.

The Trust does not fund organisations or individuals outside Shropshire, nor does it support causes unrelated to health and disability. It avoids items or services that are readily available from statutory sources, focusing instead on filling gaps in provision.

The Trust welcomes unsolicited applications from eligible parties. It makes grants for project costs, capital items, and individual support, with an emphasis on practical, local impact. The Trust is governed by a board that includes Forester family members, reflecting its long-standing family involvement.
