The Foundation does not publish a list of exclusions, but its grants are limited to activities that advance education or relieve poverty, as defined by its charitable objects. It does not fund outside these areas.

The Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications. Grants are awarded entirely at the trustees' private discretion, with no public application process. It offers flexibility in funding type, supporting project costs, core costs, or general support. The Foundation operates with a low-profile, trustee-led approach and does not publish case studies or strategic plans.
