New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), established in 2002 by former investment professionals as a UK-based charity, think tank, and consultancy, drives philanthropic effectiveness by channeling resources to high-impact social interventions. Its mission is to maximize social impact for charities, foundations, philanthropists, impact investors, social enterprises, corporates, and public partners through rigorous evidence, analysis, strategic guidance, and capacity-building. Rooted in values of objectivity, collaboration, evidence-led decision-making, and systemic change, NPC uniquely blends thought leadership—via research and policy on trends like loneliness, youth mental health, criminal justice, health inequalities, poverty, education, reoffending, and climate adaptation—with hands-on consultancy to refine theories of change, impact measurement, governance, and digital tools.
