Postcode Planet Trust

The Trust supports large-scale environmental initiatives that conserve and restore habitats, recover threatened species, combat environmental degradation, enhance ecosystem services, and address climate challenges. Projects often involve community engagement and span terrestrial, freshwater, and marine realms. Examples include rainforest protection, ocean conservation, and campaigning for transparency and species recovery. Work is carried out across the UK and globally, with beneficiaries including major organisations such as WWF-UK, Fauna & Flora, The Wildlife Trusts, ZSL, BirdLife International, and Global Witness.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities. The Trust preferentially funds large, established organisations with proven financial stability and the capacity to deliver measurable, large-scale impact. There is no geographic base restriction, but projects must yield tangible environmental outcomes. The Trust’s approach is proactive and invitation-only, so it does not accept unsolicited applications.

The Trust does not fund small-scale projects, capital costs, or emergency relief. It also does not accept unsolicited applications, as its funding process is invitation-only based on its own research and strategic identification of partners.
