The Trust supports work in education and training, poverty prevention or relief, and religious activities, along with broader community benefit projects. Funded initiatives include educational programmes, poverty alleviation efforts, faith-based activities, and other projects that benefit children and young people, the elderly, charities and voluntary bodies, and the general public. Grants cover both project-specific costs and core costs, reflecting a flexible approach. The Trust focuses its funding on organisations operating in Surrey or London, with a preference for small to medium-sized, grassroots charities.

Eligible applicants must be UK-registered charities or community groups operating in Surrey or London. The Trust prioritises small to medium-sized, grassroots organisations, with recent grantee patterns favouring those with modest annual incomes. There are no religious restrictions on applicants. The Trust does not accept unsolicited applications; trustees identify and select recipients internally.

The Trust does not support individuals, national-scale entities, or capital projects. It also avoids funding initiatives that fall outside its focus on education, poverty relief, faith, or community benefit.
