Renegade Foundation

The Renegade Foundation, a charitable trust registered in England and Wales since April 2020, serves as a dedicated resource for young people up to age 25 in Greater London, providing advice, assistance, and programmes in physical, educational, and other activities to advance their life chances. Founded by trustees Logan Romero Plant, Bridget Emma Plant, and Duncan Jackson, its core mission focuses on developing skills, capacities, and capabilities to foster independent, mature, and responsible individuals, emphasising youth empowerment, inclusion, and positive progression into adulthood through a trustee-led, evidence-informed approach that blends grant-making with direct service provision, advocacy, and facility development.

It prioritises thematic areas like education and training, disability support, and economic or community development/employment, funding initiatives that build life skills, overcome barriers, and promote social integration for disadvantaged youth. Support extends to both individuals and organisations via project-based grants and programme delivery, targeting interventions in skills development, mentoring, and transitional opportunities exclusively within Greater London.

Eligible applicants are limited to UK-registered charities and community groups—particularly small to medium-sized or grassroots entities—with no strict income thresholds but a strong preference for those advancing young people's life chances in London; unsolicited applications are not accepted, as funding is discretionary and trustee-directed without public processes, guidelines, deadlines, or typical grant ranges disclosed. Distinctively, it avoids open calls or unrestricted/core funding, focusing instead on holistic, targeted interventions rather than broad or capital-only projects, making it ideal for London-based youth charities seeking aligned, flexible trustee support.
