RSM UK Foundation

The Foundation supports a wide spectrum of charitable work, including projects that improve physical and mental health, advance education and skills, create employment opportunities, protect the environment, alleviate poverty and hardship, support disabled people, and benefit children, young people, and older adults. Grants are awarded for project delivery costs, enabling charities to run specific initiatives. While the Foundation operates across the UK, it gives particular consideration to charities located near RSM UK offices, reflecting its local community focus. The Foundation also funds work addressing disability and supporting older people, as well as environmental conservation and education.

The Foundation welcomes applications from registered charities across the UK. It prioritises smaller charities, particularly those with modest annual incomes, and those situated close to RSM UK offices. Charities that have not previously received a grant from the Foundation in the last two years are given priority. The Foundation supports projects that benefit the general public, including children, young people, older adults, disabled individuals, and those experiencing poverty or health challenges. Individuals are not eligible to apply.

The Foundation does not fund core costs, so grants are restricted to project delivery. It also excludes applications from individuals, projects related to armed forces causes, and any work based in countries where another RSM UK Group corporate or charitable foundation is already active.

The Foundation makes one-off grants for project-based activities, typically non-recurring in nature. It does not require match funding and can fund up to the full cost of a proposal. The Foundation welcomes unsolicited applications from eligible charities.
