nationalparks.ukAbout UK National Parks Charity Foundation
The UK National Parks Charity Foundation, established in 2019, is the official collective fundraising vehicle for the fifteen National Parks across England, Wales and Scotland. Founded by National Parks Partnerships LLP, its mission is to preserve, conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of these landscapes, while promoting sustainable development, public education, equitable access and recreation for social welfare. Guided by values of stewardship, inclusivity and sustainability, the Foundation works through partnerships with local park charities, National Park Authorities, and corporate allies to achieve landscape-scale impact. It stands out as the only national platform that combines philanthropy, cause-marketing and strategic consortia to support National Parks.
What UK National Parks Charity Foundation funds
The Foundation funds innovative, scalable projects that advance nature restoration, green skills and youth engagement, equality and diversity, physical access improvements, and environmental education. Specific themes include tree planting, biodiversity, climate mitigation, travel grants, skills workshops, and activities that foster people-nature connections. All funded work must take place within or directly benefit the fifteen National Parks of England, Wales and Scotland.
