Action Together CIO

Action Together funds local VCFSE groups delivering for vulnerable people, advancing equality, and addressing local needs through project funding, core costs, and capacity building. Thematic priorities include volunteering, organisational development, network building, advocacy, and grassroots funding, supporting initiatives like social prescribing, health inequalities, social inclusion, environmental responsibility, and system change. Programmes such as the Ashton Parish Church Charity Small Grants Programme support projects tackling poverty and hardship within the Parish of the Good Shepherd, Ashton-under-Lyne, while the Fix The Digital Divide Fund provides equipment and training to bridge digital exclusion across the UK.

Action Together expects applicants to be VCFSE groups who are members of Action Together CIO. Eligible organisation types include registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations, community interest companies, community groups, faith groups, and social enterprises. Applicants must be based in and operate within the area of the Parish of the Good Shepherd, Ashton-under-Lyne for the Ashton Parish Church Charity Small Grants Programme, while the Fix The Digital Divide Fund welcomes applications from organisations across the UK.
