Addison Youth Club

The funder supports youth work across the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It funds open access youth clubs and projects that address basic needs within a youth work context. Priority is given to frontline challenges and initiatives that involve young people in shaping services. The charity also values good value for money, diverse income sources and sound financial management. Both core costs and project delivery costs are eligible for support. Beneficiaries are children and young people living or studying in the borough.

Registered charities and community interest companies based in or working for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham can apply. The funder prioritises organisations with a strong local presence and sound financial management. It does not fund profit-distributing companies, public bodies, organisations where the board consists solely of related parties, or membership groups such as scout groups and housing associations. Unregistered groups are also excluded. Beneficiaries must be children and young people.

The funder does not support faith-based activities, criminal justice, political causes, or medical research. It also excludes contributions to general appeals, activities that have already taken place, projects benefiting a single individual, activities covered by statutory obligations, and organisations that charge high fees to individuals. Organisations with an affiliation to schools or pupil referral units are not considered. Additionally, profit-distributing companies, public bodies, and certain membership groups are ineligible.

Grants are one-off and can cover core costs or project delivery. The funder welcomes unsolicited applications and looks for organisations with diverse income sources and sound financial management. It prioritises good value for money and frontline youth work.
