Chelsea Arts Club Trust

The Trust funds bursaries, scholarships, materials and research awards, project grants, studio support, and initiatives such as the Artist-Run-Space Award. Priorities span visual and creative arts including sculpture, dance, music, architecture, and writing. It supports emerging artists, financially needy students and graduates, artist collectives, small galleries, and public-facing projects addressing social challenges. Funding is primarily directed to London-based organisations, especially within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Eligible applicants are invite-only academic institutions and community groups, primarily London-based (especially Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea), favouring small-scale entities with limited resources. No income thresholds apply, but UK and international students at partner schools qualify via institutional processes. The Trust does not fund non-arts activities or core and capital costs. It targets overlooked development phases and infrastructure for experimentation, so applications outside these priorities are not considered.
