The Trust funds youth work, mentoring, after-school clubs, therapeutic activities, creative arts programmes, peer support groups, and employability training for young people in England. It also supports empathy-led approaches such as counselling, outreach, advocacy, trauma-informed care, and inclusive arts for ethnic minorities, disabled youth, homeless individuals, and those with complex health needs. Overseas, the Trust funds self-sufficiency initiatives in developing countries, including poverty alleviation, food insecurity, and community development through education, skills training, knowledge transfer, and humanitarian relief for marginalised communities, refugees, and vulnerable families. The Trust prioritises preventative early intervention, person-centred services, and holistic empowerment. It supports both programme delivery and capacity building, and values evidence-based practice and grassroots innovation.

The Trust only funds registered charities, not individuals or other organisation types. It prioritises organisations working with young people aged 13-25 in England who face barriers such as homelessness, mental health challenges, disability, learning disabilities, and social isolation. Overseas, it supports charities working with marginalised communities, refugees, and vulnerable families in developing countries. The Trust favours known charities with proven impact and established trustee relationships. It values organisations that demonstrate empathy-driven education, sustainability, and a focus on lived experience. Unsolicited applications are not accepted; the Trust works by invitation and through existing relationships.

The Trust does not fund capital projects, unsolicited bids, or impersonal transactional funding. It also excludes any activities that do not align with its empathy-based, education-driven approach. The Trust prefers to support organisations it already knows through trustee relationships, rather than responding to unsolicited requests.

The Trust provides revenue grants for core costs, capacity building, and programme delivery. It offers multi-year grants and repeat funding to build organisational resilience. The Trust is known for its personal visits and flexible approach, favouring long-term partnerships over one-off grants.
