Daisie Rich Trust

The Trust funds across five sectors: youth development, including educational initiatives, after-school clubs and mental health counselling for children facing barriers; health services such as hospice care, patient support groups and respite for families managing complex health needs; community services like bereavement care, family counselling and inclusive activities for disabled people; welfare and crisis intervention including homelessness prevention and poverty relief; and arts, culture and environment through cultural venues and conservation projects. All activities must benefit Isle of Wight residents directly.

Registered charities and community groups operating on the Isle of Wight are eligible. The Trust prioritises beneficiaries including children, young people, elderly residents, carers, disabled individuals and those experiencing grief or economic hardship. They prefer long-term local charities with strong community roots and evidence of tangible local impact.

Funding is limited to Isle of Wight direct beneficiaries only; non-local or indirect activities are not supported. Pursuits outside the Trust's priority sectors of youth, health, community, welfare, arts, culture and environment are also excluded.

The Trust offers flexible grant types, including support for projects, core costs, capital, equipment and emergency needs. They value sustained partnerships with grassroots organisations and welcome unsolicited applications.
