Drapers Charitable Fund

The Fund supports registered charities working in children and youth, education and skills, homelessness, criminal justice, armed forces, poverty and hardship, older people, community development, heritage, arts and culture, and disability. It funds both project-based costs and core costs, and can offer multi-year grants. Geographically, the Fund has a strong focus on Greater London, especially raising aspirations for young people there. It also supports work linked to textile heritage, military heritage, and the City of London, as well as wider activity across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Charities working in these areas with a connection to the Fund's historic interests may find a natural fit.

Only registered charities based in or serving Greater London, the City of London, Northern Ireland, England, or Wales can apply. The Fund prioritises charities that improve the quality of life and aspirations of people and communities, particularly those who are socially excluded or disadvantaged. Specific beneficiary groups include children and young people, homeless people, offenders, veterans, older people, disabled people, and the general public. There are no religious restrictions. The Fund has a particular interest in organisations that raise aspirations for young people in Greater London.

The Fund does not support capital costs, building projects, or large refurbishments. Its grants are focused on revenue support for programmes, core costs, and project expenses rather than physical infrastructure.
