Fine & Country Foundation

The Fine & Country Foundation, established in 2014 by the global Fine & Country estate agency network, is a grant-making trust dedicated to combating homelessness and poverty in the UK and abroad. It raises awareness and funds through community engagement, strategic grants, and staff/volunteer involvement, guided by values of integrity, honesty, collaboration, inclusivity, and transparency. Distinctively integrated with the property sector, it leverages agent networks for local nominations and impact, having donated over £1 million to charities delivering lasting housing solutions and support for vulnerable people.

The foundation prioritizes projects preventing homelessness, providing care for the homeless, and enabling permanent exits from street homelessness—such as housing initiatives, education schemes, support services, and poverty mitigation efforts by housing associations and grassroots groups. Grants also cover related overheads, offering flexibility for charities to address root causes of housing insecurity with measurable outcomes.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities (and international equivalents) of any size or income, with no geographic restrictions but preference for areas with Fine & Country offices. Unsolicited applications are not accepted; charities must secure nomination from a local agent, complete the downloadable form (with agent endorsement), and email it to grants@fineandcountryfoundation.com by biannual deadlines: spring (31 March) or autumn (next: 31 October 2025), with funds distributed in May/December up to £3,000 per project. This nomination-driven model, robust governance, and focus on direct accommodation impact set it apart from broader funders.
