Generations Foundation

The Foundation's grant programme supports projects that benefit children, young people, disabled people and their families. They prioritise work that is practical, hands-on, and makes a tangible difference. Their three guiding priorities are respecting the individual, being child, family and community-centred, and building for the future. The work they fund can take place in the UK or internationally, as long as the applying organisation is a UK-registered charity. They are particularly interested in community-centred approaches that involve families and support vulnerable individuals across a wide age range, from infants to young adults. The Foundation values projects that are rooted in the community and focus on the needs of the individual, ensuring that work is child, family, and community-centred.

The Foundation only accepts applications from registered charities based in the United Kingdom. They are not able to consider unregistered community groups, non-charitable organisations, or charities based outside the UK. The projects they fund can be international, but the applicant must be a UK-registered charity. There are no religious restrictions, and they welcome applications from charities working with children, young people, disabled people, and families. Organisations should align with the Foundation's priorities of respecting the individual and being community-centred.

The Foundation's grant programme is limited to UK-registered charities. It does not support unregistered community groups, non-charitable organisations, or charities based outside the United Kingdom. This restriction applies regardless of where the project work takes place. The Foundation is unable to consider applications from any entity that is not a registered charity in the UK. Any request from an organisation that does not meet this criterion will not be considered.
