God My Silent Partner Foundation

God My Silent Partner Foundation (GMSP Foundation), established in 2006 by Ramesh and Pratibha Sachdev and now led by their daughter Sonal Sachdev Patel, is a family-led philanthropy rooted in British Indian values of love, trust, humility, faith, and shared humanity. Its mission drives transformative equity and justice for marginalised communities in London and India by empowering women and girls as change agents through grassroots organisations, employing a distinctive trust-based approach that cedes funder power via multi-year unrestricted grants, pro bono legal aid, networking, media promotion, and wellbeing support for leaders.

The foundation prioritises poverty relief, education and training, health and wellbeing, disability services, housing, economic and community development, and advancing rights for vulnerable groups, including Black and minoritised communities, refugees, homeless people, children in poverty (UK), and lower-caste, minority religion, tribal communities, plus women and girls outside major Indian cities. It funds both organisations and individuals, supporting community-led initiatives, policy advocacy, scalable education, livelihoods, and holistic resilience for the systematically excluded.

Eligible partners are grassroots to small-medium organisations with strong community ties, operating exclusively in London or India; no strict income thresholds apply, but preference favours resource-limited local groups serving underserved populations. Grants typically range from £20,000 to £250,000 annually (with multi-year totals up to £500,000+), tailored to needs.

GMSP does not accept unsolicited applications—invitations only via networks and research, on a rolling basis with no deadlines—and excludes projects outside its geographies or large national charities. Its unique relational philanthropy emphasises emotional wellbeing, spiritual solidarity across faiths, long-term partnerships, and dignity-centred impact, differentiating it as a humble, inclusive ally for social justice.
