Roddick Foundation

The Roddick Foundation is a UK-based charitable trust inspired by Dame Anita Roddick, founder of The Body Shop, and governed by Roddick family members. Eligible entities include UK and global charities without income, size, or geographic restrictions, though alignment with transformative justice is key. Strictly invitation-only with rolling reviews and no unsolicited applications or deadlines—organisations are proactively selected by trustees. Typical grants range from £10,000 to £150,000, scaling for multi-year impact. Distinctively, it backs radical change-makers facing mainstream resistance, accepting reputational risk to resource courageous work for people and planet, differentiating it from risk-averse funders.
