Green Room Charitable Trust

The Trust supports UK-registered charities working on poverty alleviation, human rights advocacy, women's empowerment, and social enterprise development. Funding covers core costs, projects, and capacity-building for transformative, holistic efforts. Environmental and sustainability initiatives receive investment support rather than direct grants, with a focus on collaborative, scalable solutions that demonstrate financial sustainability and systemic impact. While primarily UK-based, international projects may be considered at the trustees' discretion.

Eligible applicants must be UK-registered charities or community groups, typically medium-to-large organisations capable of sustainable operations. The Trust prefers proactive, network-driven relationships and does not accept unsolicited proposals. There is no religious restriction. The Trust prioritises enterprising approaches and long-term beneficiary resilience, so organisations with a clear social enterprise model or capacity-building focus are especially aligned.

The Trust does not fund capital projects, emergency relief, or non-enterprising interventions. Environmental and sustainability initiatives are supported through investments rather than direct grants. The Trust also avoids short-term aid models, focusing instead on initiatives that build lasting resilience and systemic change.
