Greenaway Foundation

The Foundation alleviates child poverty and enhances wellbeing, social inclusion, and education for families with children up to age 17. Support is provided through direct, practical interventions such as food parcels, school uniforms and essentials, travel aid, and enrichment trips. A flagship Christmas campaign delivers festive meals and personalised gifts. All activities are centred in West Sussex, Surrey, Crawley, Horley, and East Grinstead, occasionally extending to the wider southeast of England.

The Foundation works through existing partner organisations, including community groups, schools, local authorities, and voluntary groups. Beneficiaries are financially challenged families with children up to 17, especially those who fall through statutory gaps. Referrals must come from trusted professionals such as teachers or social workers. The Foundation does not accept unsolicited applications from charities or direct family requests. There are no income or size thresholds for partner organisations, and no religious restriction on the families supported.

The Foundation does not provide grants to charities, whether unrestricted or project-specific. It does not replace statutory services or fund non-local organisations. Direct applications from families or charities are not accepted; support is only available through existing partner nominations.

The Foundation covers its own operational costs separately, ensuring that 100% of donor funds go directly to beneficiaries.
