The Trust funds work that prevents and treats child abuse and neglect, including therapeutic programmes, family support, advocacy, early intervention, aftercare, and capacity-building for survivors. It supports organisations addressing online exploitation, gang-related trauma, and intergenerational issues. Grants are available to charities and CICs operating anywhere in the UK, with a preference for small to medium-sized organisations that demonstrate proven effectiveness in child protection.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities and community interest companies (CICs) working anywhere in the UK. The Trust prioritises small to medium-sized organisations with a strong track record in child protection. It does not accept unsolicited applications; instead, it proactively invites promising entities through sector networks and expert recommendations. There is no religious restriction on applicants.

The Trust does not fund frontline services, statutory activities, or causes beyond child abuse and neglect. It avoids work that is not directly related to preventing or treating abuse, and it does not support organisations that lack a proven, evidence-based approach to child protection.

Grants are mostly unrestricted, allowing recipients flexibility in how they use the funds. Multi-year awards are available for high-impact work. The Trust operates by invitation only, proactively identifying potential grantees through sector networks and expert recommendations rather than accepting open applications.
