Families of children and young people under 25 who are resident in the United Kingdom or Ireland can apply. The funder prioritises seriously ill or disabled children with complex, rare, or life-limiting conditions, as listed above. There are no organisational income rules, religious restrictions, or geographic sub-limits within these areas. Unsolicited applications are welcomed, and each case is assessed individually, with a focus on clearly unmet, clinically justified needs.

Just4Children does not fund core organisational costs, unrestricted charity grants, or non-medical needs that lack a therapeutic benefit. They manage fundraising campaigns on behalf of families, secure discounts from suppliers, and advocate for them, often paying providers directly. Multi-year support is possible, and no match funding is required. Their approach is hands-on and case-by-case, reflecting their commitment to practical support and partnership.
