The Trust funds projects, core costs, and restricted initiatives in children and youth support, disability services, education, and the arts as empowerment tools. It backs proven interventions such as hospice care, respite holidays, and medical accommodation. Examples of supported work include mobility equipment, skills development for people with learning disabilities, and arts programmes that build confidence and opportunity. While the Trust’s ethos echoes a focus on Birmingham and the West Midlands, it extends support across the UK and to select overseas projects in Africa and India. The Trust favours charities that foster well-being and opportunity for vulnerable groups, with a preference for small- to medium-sized organisations that have a track record of impact.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities serving disadvantaged children, young people, and disabled individuals with mental, physical, or emotional needs. The Trust does not fund individuals, unconstituted groups, or non-charitable activities. While its roots are in the West Midlands, it supports charities across the UK and does not impose strict income limits or geographic requirements. Grassroots groups with a proven track record are particularly welcome. The Trust prioritises organisations that demonstrate compassion, inclusivity, and practical impact in their work.

The Trust does not fund individuals, unconstituted groups, large capital projects, or non-charitable activities. It also does not support organisations that are not registered UK charities. Grants are not made for activities that fall outside the Trust's focus on disadvantaged children, young people, and disabled individuals.
