The Trust funds capital projects for community infrastructure, including village halls used for day services, befriending, and social events that combat isolation; sports facilities and clubs supporting youth development and physical activity; welfare services for elderly residents, offering respite care and hardship relief; and emergency response equipment for volunteer first responders. Libraries, action groups, and Rotary Club initiatives also receive support for education, literacy, skills training, and volunteering. Individual grants address personal hardship, poverty, and family crises. Grants are strictly for Kinver Parish residents or organisations serving them.

Both registered charities and community groups can apply, provided they serve residents of the Parish of Kinver, including the areas of Kinver, Stourton, and Iverley. The Trust supports grassroots voluntary groups and individuals, prioritising embedded local charities that demonstrate stewardship and measurable communal uplift. Beneficiaries include rural families, isolated elderly, youth at risk of exclusion, carers, and volunteers sustaining the local fabric.

The Trust does not fund routine operational costs, higher education tuition or living expenses (though course materials may qualify), or non-charitable entities. Grants are strictly for Kinver Parish residents or organisations serving them.

The Trust makes discretionary grants, favouring one-off capital investments over ongoing subsidies. They welcome unsolicited applications. Their approach emphasises strengthening essential local assets and fostering self-reliance, with a preference for projects that yield broad public benefit without creating ongoing dependency.
