The Fund supports causes related to children and youth, education and skills, and employment. It funds activities that help young, disadvantaged people progress from education into employment. Specific areas of interest include STEM education, practical vocational training, mentoring, youth clubs, and other programmes that build skills and confidence. The Fund focuses its support on London, prioritising smaller charities where modest donations can make a significant difference in achieving educational excellence and vocational outcomes.

Applications are accepted from registered charities, educational establishments, and City institutions. The Fund works with organisations that support young, disadvantaged people and are based in or have a clear connection to London. Priority is given to smaller charities where modest donations can have a high impact. There is no religious restriction on applicants. Individual applications are not accepted.

The Fund does not support national charities or organisations without a connection to London. It avoids generalist causes and concentrates instead on targeted youth-focused education and skills work. Applications from individuals are also excluded.

The Fund typically begins support with a one-off donation. Organisations may then reapply for further funding in subsequent years, and if successful, they may receive another one-off donation or a three-year donation. The Fund welcomes unsolicited applications.
