Taurus Foundation

The Foundation supports work across six themes: biodiversity and species conservation (with an environmental focus), arts, welfare of disadvantaged and marginalised groups, mental health, domestic animal welfare, and projects with Jewish connections. Funding is flexible and typically unrestricted, covering core costs, operations or projects. Grants support diverse activities such as environmental sustainability, social inclusion, wellbeing initiatives, cultural engagement, and Jewish heritage protection. Eligible organisations are UK-registered charities operating across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; geography is not restrictive beyond a UK base.

Eligible organisations are strictly UK-registered charities of any size, with no income thresholds. The Foundation supports small, medium and larger charities based on thematic fit. Beneficiaries include disadvantaged and marginalised groups, and projects with Jewish connections are a priority. There is no application process—the Foundation does not accept unsolicited enquiries or proposals. All funding decisions arise from the trustees' own research and engagement, so charities cannot apply directly.
