Tunstall Jubilee Foundation

The foundation funds projects and activities that directly benefit children and young people who are or have been in local authority care. Supported uses include training, capital works, and project delivery. The foundation prioritises education and training, helping to develop talents and abilities, and enabling independent living. It also supports young people leaving care through provision or improvement of resources. Grants are available to individuals and organisations working in any part of the UK, with a focus on care-experienced children and young people.

Both individuals and organisations that work with people who are or have been in local authority care can apply. Eligible organisations include registered charities and community groups. The foundation’s work is UK-wide, and there is no religious restriction. It particularly supports those who are care-experienced, with a strong emphasis on young people leaving care. Applications are welcome from any group or individual whose work directly benefits this specific beneficiary group.

The foundation does not fund work that falls outside its specific beneficiary group of care-experienced children and young people, or that does not directly support those who have been in local authority care. Activities or projects without a clear link to this group are not considered.

The foundation provides grants for training, capital works, and project delivery. It accepts unsolicited applications from eligible individuals and organisations. Funding is available for both one-off initiatives and ongoing support, and the foundation works collaboratively with grantees to ensure lasting impact for care-experienced young people.
