Chasdei Moishe Trust

The Trust funds hardship relief for basic living costs and religious needs, educational grants to individuals, and core or project support for Orthodox communal organisations. Activities supported include emergency aid, religious events, youth education, and welfare programmes. The primary geographic focus is North London, but it is open to UK-wide and select overseas ties, with a preference for small to medium-sized Orthodox Jewish charities serving local or diaspora communities.

Eligible applicants are UK-registered charities, preferably small to medium-sized Orthodox Jewish entities serving local or diaspora communities. The Trust prioritises organisations rooted in the Orthodox Jewish community, particularly those in North London's Stamford Hill area, but is open to UK-wide and select overseas causes. No formal income thresholds apply, and grassroots synagogues, schools, and welfare groups are typical beneficiaries. The Trust's support is directed exclusively to Jewish causes, reflecting its religious context.

The Trust does not fund capital projects, initiatives linked to its trustees, or non-Jewish causes. Its funding is reserved for activities that directly relieve poverty or advance Orthodox Jewish religious life within its community focus.

Grants are awarded at trustee discretion without a public application process; the Trust does not accept unsolicited applications. Funding is provided as direct financial relief to individuals and as core or project support to organisations, reflecting an embedded community partnership approach rather than open competition.
