Cwplus

CW+ (Cwplus) is the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, supporting over 1.5 million people across its hospitals in Chelsea and Westminster, West Middlesex University Hospital, and 12 community clinics in North-West London. Rooted in the 1993 opening of its flagship patient-centred hospital, CW+ partners with the NHS to enhance patient and staff wellbeing through world-class infrastructure, medical research, health innovations, and nationally recognised arts and design programmes that transform clinical environments. Its core values—collaboration, creativity, and support—drive an ambitious culture focused on high-impact legacies in NHS care, emphasising arts in health, technology, and strategic partnerships like the £30m Thirty at Thirty campaign and Volunteering for Health initiative.

CW+ funds projects advancing health, saving lives, and promoting disability inclusion, prioritising children, young people, the elderly, and general public. Supported activities include state-of-the-art equipment, new facilities, arts installations, research grants (e.g., JRC programme), staff training via conferences, and wellbeing initiatives for patients, families, and NHS staff, often co-funded with Trust departments for tangible clinical improvements and policy influence.
