Cwplus

CW+ funds a wide range of activities that directly improve patient and staff wellbeing. Supported projects include state-of-the-art medical equipment, new facilities, arts installations, research grants, staff training, and wellbeing initiatives for patients, families, and NHS staff. The charity prioritises health, saving lives, and disability inclusion, with a particular focus on children, young people, and older adults. Its arts and design programmes are nationally recognised for transforming clinical environments. Geographically, the focus is on North-West London, including the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, the City of Westminster, and surrounding areas, as well as the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex University Hospital. Many projects are co-funded with Trust departments to achieve tangible clinical improvements.

Applications are primarily open to staff of Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust who have departmental endorsement. The charity does not accept unsolicited applications from external charities, though special calls may invite partner organisations. There are no income or size restrictions, and no religious limits. Priority beneficiary groups include children, young people, older adults, and the general public. Eligible organisations must be registered charities. CW+ does not fund projects that are not endorsed by a Trust department or unrelated to its mission of enhancing patient and staff wellbeing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
