Equitix Foundation

The Foundation supports small charities working in areas such as child poverty, including bed poverty and essentials provision; homelessness and hardship, including meals and practical relief; youth support for additional needs; community education and wellbeing; and innovative child healthcare. Funding covers both core costs and specific projects that deliver direct interventions, such as providing essentials, meals, education access, and health-related support. The work is focused on communities near Equitix assets across England and Wales, aiming for local, tangible impact rather than broad national causes.

Eligible organisations are small UK-registered charities based in England and Wales, with a modest turnover. They must be located near communities impacted by Equitix assets. There are no religious restrictions. The Foundation prioritises charities that serve these local areas and can demonstrate direct, practical support to beneficiaries. Unsolicited applications are not accepted; instead, trustees select beneficiaries annually through an employee nomination process, so charities may need to be proactive in raising their profile with the Foundation.

The Foundation does not fund broad national causes or organisations that are not based in England and Wales. It also does not accept unsolicited applications, meaning charities cannot apply through a standard open process. Funding is directed to small, local charities, so larger organisations or those with significant turnover are unlikely to be considered.
