Frenkel Topping Charitable Foundation

The foundation supports causes related to disability, physical health, and mental health. It funds a wide range of needs including equipment and mobility aids, therapies such as physiotherapy or speech therapy, prosthetics, respite days, counselling, training, events, and transport. Grants are available across the UK, and the foundation prioritises assistance that supports both mental and physical wellbeing following life-changing events.

Individuals who have experienced a life-changing personal injury, illness, or medical condition are eligible to apply, as are registered charities, schools, and community groups. The foundation supports disabled people, children, young people, older people, and the general public. There is no religious restriction, and applications are welcomed from across the UK.

The foundation does not fund household goods or furnishings, house adaptations, professional fees or training costs, salaries, marketing, or equipment not deemed a medical need. It also excludes projects eligible for public funding, those where the applicant can fund the event themselves, and any activity with religious or political aspects. For wheelchair grants, an NHS wheelchair assessment is required and other reports are not accepted.

The foundation operates rolling grant programmes and welcomes unsolicited applications. It provides funding for specific needs such as equipment, therapies, respite, and events, and supports both individuals and organisations. Grants are offered on a one-off basis for the items or activities requested.
