The trust funds poverty alleviation via emergency financial relief for families facing basic living costs and food insecurity; disability support including special equipment for physical disabilities, mobility challenges, and complex health needs; health advancement through crisis interventions and wellbeing services; education and training programmes for children and young people tackling disadvantage and skills gaps; elderly care initiatives combating social isolation through befriending, day services, and community activities; and broader relief for ill health, social care, and inclusion. Activities include direct assistance, youth development, respite care, peer support groups, health outreach, and community-led projects. All funding is restricted to residents and groups serving Frimley Parish and the GU15 and GU16 postcode areas.

Both individuals and organisations can apply, including registered charities and community groups based in or serving Frimley Parish. The trust prioritises grassroots charities with lived experience leadership supporting isolated elderly, families in crisis, disabled people with learning disabilities or physical impairments, young people facing poverty or unemployment, and carers. There is no religious restriction on applicants. Eligible groups must demonstrate a direct benefit to residents of the historic parish.

The trust does not fund national charities, activities that take place outside Frimley Parish, or projects that do not directly benefit residents of the parish. They also do not support work that is not aligned with their mission of relieving poverty, hardship, and distress among local residents. Funding is focused solely on the historic parish communities.

The trust adopts a flexible, responsive approach to grantmaking, tailoring support to the specific needs of applicants. They fund both direct assistance for individuals and core costs for community organisations, prioritising local impact and grassroots empowerment. Unsolicited applications are welcome, and the trust values evidence-based, community-led models that prevent escalation of hardship.
