The Trust funds relief of financial need, such as essential items like white goods and furniture; educational advancement for students and schools, including equipment, instruments, and forest schools; and youth and recreational activities for groups like Scouts, sports clubs, and drama societies. All funding is directed to Sandwell Metropolitan Borough in the West Midlands. The Trust supports a broad range of practical interventions that broaden life experiences for residents.

Eligible applicants include UK-registered charities, community groups, schools, sports clubs, and individuals with a minimum of three years' residency in Sandwell. Organisations must primarily serve Sandwell residents. Small grassroots entities and schools are favoured, with no strict income limits. There are no ethnic or religious restrictions on beneficiaries, who include children, youth, disabled individuals, and the elderly facing hardship.

The Trust does not fund salaries, core costs, food, room hire, tutors, or subscriptions. These exclusions reflect its focus on direct, tangible support rather than ongoing operational expenses.

The Trust makes one-off grants and welcomes unsolicited applications. It favours small, grassroots organisations and schools, and its grants are designed for practical, tangible impact. The Trust's responsive model allows for direct individual aid and community support.
