Goyal Foundation

The Goyal Foundation, formerly the Hemraj Goyal Foundation, is a family-run charity established in 2010 by the Goyal family, led by founding trustee Avnish Goyal CBE and chaired by Anita Goyal MBE. Deeply committed to empowering children, young people, and women to overcome disadvantage and enhance life chances in the UK and internationally, its vision tackles persistent social and economic barriers through bold, ambitious partnerships with innovative organizations. Core values—ambition, empowerment, equality, collaboration, and systemic impact—drive a theory of change focused on education, skills development, advocacy, and holistic support, with intergenerational governance and hands-on leadership as hallmarks.

It prioritizes three themes: advancing education and life skills for deprived youth; women's empowerment and protection from violence, exploitation, and trafficking; and health/wellbeing improvements. Beneficiaries include at-risk children/young people, women facing injustice, and marginalized communities, primarily in the UK and South Asia (e.g., India), with occasional support elsewhere like Yemen. Invite-only funding targets aligned charities (grassroots to established) with no entity, income, or geographic restrictions beyond strategic fit; UK-wide and South Asia focus preferred.
