Goyal Foundation

The foundation prioritises three themes: advancing education and life skills for disadvantaged youth; empowering women and protecting them from violence, exploitation, and trafficking; and improving health and wellbeing. Activities include workshops, scholarships, outdoor learning, theatre-based mental health programmes, anti-trafficking initiatives, STEM education, and other capacity-building projects. Geographically, it focuses primarily on the UK and South Asia (such as India), with occasional support elsewhere. The foundation seeks scalable, high-impact interventions that address persistent social and economic barriers.

The foundation works with charities and organisations of any size—from grassroots to established—without income or geographic restrictions, provided there is strong strategic alignment. Beneficiaries include at-risk children and young people, women facing injustice, and marginalised communities, primarily in the UK and South Asia. The foundation does not accept unsolicited applications; organisations are approached directly through networks and referrals.

The foundation operates on an invite-only basis, approaching organisations directly through its networks and referrals. It provides project grants, core funding, capacity-building support, and match-funding partnerships. Funding can be both one-off and multi-year, depending on the nature of the collaboration, with an emphasis on outcomes and systemic change.
