Haramead Trust

The Trust supports work in poverty relief, children's welfare, health and medical aid, education, homelessness, social welfare, elderly support, and disabilities. It also funds crisis aid for families or individuals referred by trusted agencies. Grants can support projects, core costs, capital, revenue, unrestricted uses, and emergencies. While the Trust operates across the UK and internationally, it has a particular affinity for initiatives in Leicestershire and the East Midlands, alongside work in the developing world.

UK-registered charities of any size are eligible, with no income limits. The Trust prioritises work that benefits Leicestershire and the East Midlands, though it also supports initiatives elsewhere in the UK and internationally. Individuals may receive crisis aid but only through referral by trusted agencies. There are no religious restrictions on applicants.

The Trust does not fund smaller grants or activities that fall outside its mission. It focuses on enduring social issues rather than experimental projects, so applications that do not align with its core priorities of poverty, homelessness, disadvantage, children's welfare, health, education, and related areas are unlikely to be supported.
