International Eco Fund

The Fund supports projects focused on practical conservation, habitat restoration, and biodiversity enhancement, especially for wild birds and other wildlife. It also funds educational campaigns that promote environmental stewardship and capacity building for conservation groups. The Fund favours initiatives that blend hands-on action with advocacy for behavioural change, aiming for systemic biodiversity gains and improved ecological literacy among the public. All funded activities are based in England and Wales.

Applications are accepted only from UK-registered charities based in England or Wales. The Fund typically works with small to medium organisations that have a proven track record of delivering measurable habitat improvements and species protection. It prioritises established conservation groups and those that engage the public through awareness initiatives. The Fund operates on an invite-only basis, so unsolicited applications are not considered. There is no religious restriction on eligibility.

The Fund does not support projects that directly benefit people or communities, such as social welfare, health, or community development initiatives. Its focus is on biodiversity and ecological outcomes, not on human-centred projects. Work outside England and Wales, or activities that do not align with the Fund's conservation and education mission, are also excluded.

The Fund operates on an invite-only basis, identifying potential partners through trustee networks.
