The emphasis is on personnel and practical enablers—such as housing and living expenses—rather than broad charitable aims, ensuring resources sustain the church's strategic vision and mission partners.

Beneficiaries are clergy, Christian workers, small affiliated groups, and mission partners advancing gospel work, with a focus on those closely aligned to Jesmond Parish Church. The Trust supports UK-registered charities and community groups, but only those pre-identified as partners with close theological and organisational alignment. There is no formal eligibility for external entities, income thresholds, or geographic limits beyond church-linked work, primarily in Newcastle/Tyneside and select international locations. Unsolicited applications are not accepted; funding goes exclusively to established connections.

The Trust excludes unaffiliated charities, non-Christian causes, and speculative projects. It does not support broad charitable aims or general philanthropy, focusing instead on Jesmond-led evangelical mission. Organisations without a direct relationship to the church or its theological stance are not considered.
