Lloyds Bank Foundation for England & Wales

The Foundation funds work in homelessness, poverty and hardship, employment, and support for ethnic minority communities. They support core costs, salaries, and training through unrestricted, multi-year grants. Their programmes include a dedicated focus on racial equity and support for Deaf and Disabled People's Organisations. They operate across England, Wales, and the Isle of Man, with some programmes focused outside London. The Foundation prioritises organisations that demonstrate a deep understanding of and a strong track record in delivering services to people experiencing additional barriers because of age, gender reassignment, being married or in a civil partnership, being pregnant, disability, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

Registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs), and community interest companies (CICs) can apply. The Foundation supports small charities that are user-led and rooted in their communities. They prioritise organisations that demonstrate a deep understanding of and a strong track record in delivering services to people facing additional barriers because of protected characteristics. Organisations must be based and work in England, Wales, or the Isle of Man.

The Foundation does not fund capital costs, large organisations, or discrete project-only work. They do not support work outside England, Wales, and the Isle of Man.

The Foundation provides unrestricted, multi-year grants. They offer grants over four years for some programmes and over three years for others. They do not require match funding. They welcome unsolicited applications.
