Lord Forte Foundation

The Foundation funds hospitality-specific education and training across the UK. It supports universities, colleges, and training centres that provide hospitality education, as well as students and professionals requiring assistance with their studies. Grants cover training, research, project delivery, and salaries within the hospitality sector. The Foundation's focus is on building skills and advancing industry standards in hotel, catering, travel, and tourism. All funding is directed towards hospitality-related activities within the UK.

Universities, colleges, training centres, and individuals within the hospitality sector can apply for support. The Foundation welcomes applications from both organisations and individuals, including students and professionals seeking help with hospitality studies. Eligible applicants must be based in the UK. The Foundation is a registered charity and has no religious restrictions. Priority is given to those advancing hospitality education and professional development.

The Foundation does not fund capital works, core costs, or international projects. It also excludes all causes outside hospitality education, such as arts, environment, health, poverty, community development, and many other areas. Grants are not available for non-hospitality activities or for general charitable purposes outside the hospitality sector.

The Foundation's grant programme is suspended. When active, it welcomes unsolicited applications from eligible organisations and individuals. Grants are provided for specific projects and activities, not for core costs or capital works. The Foundation does not require match funding.
