All funding is restricted to projects operating exclusively within the UK, with a focus on urban England. The Trust supports work that addresses homelessness and poverty from any background, while also serving underserved Muslim groups through initiatives that combine practical relief with spiritual care.

Eligible applicants are limited to UK-registered charities and community groups working exclusively in the UK, with a preference for small to medium grassroots organisations. The Trust looks for groups that demonstrate strong community accountability and alignment with its dual humanitarian-faith ethos. While the Trust is rooted in Islamic principles, it does not restrict beneficiaries by faith; it supports organisations that serve the homeless and impoverished from any background, as well as underserved Muslim communities. Applicants should be able to show how their work embodies compassion, social justice, and community empowerment.

The Trust does not fund core costs, capital expenditure, or unrestricted grants. It also does not support work outside the UK, focusing all its resources on UK-local humanitarian action. Large national programmes or organisations that lack a grassroots connection are unlikely to be a fit.

The Trust does not accept unsolicited applications. It funds project costs only, rather than core funding or unrestricted support. Grants are directed towards grassroots projects that deliver tangible relief and spiritual belonging, with decisions made internally. The Trust prefers to work with organisations that share its values and can demonstrate community accountability.
